The Belgian Bone Marrow Donor Registry, having its place of business at Motstraat 42, 2800 Mechelen (Belgium), is part of the Belgian Red Cross, a public utility institution having legal personality by virtue of the Act dd. 30 March 1891, having its registered office at 1180 Brussel, Stallestraat 96, registered in the Belgian Crossroad Bank for Enterprises with number 0406.729.809.

Certifications and undersigned codes of conduct

The Belgian Bone Marrow Donor Registry is certified as operator of the registry within the meaning of the Belgian Royal Decree of 7 November 2011 laying down the conditions to be met by banks for human body material and intermediary structures for the collection and storage of cord blood. The supervisory authority is the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP).

The Belgian Bone Marrow Donor Registry is a member of the World Marrow Donor Association and meets the World Marrow Donor Association International Standards for Unrelated Haematopoietic Stem Cell Donor Registries.
